This book is 25 years old and outdated. It’s still got valuable information, but it’s dry reading and its content is geared more to flying or working on light twins than to the ATP pilot. Technology has changed a lot since 1993 - no discussion of modern cockpit or flight systems. If you’re thinking of buying this book to study for an airline interview like I did, save your money and get the much-better Turbine Pilot’s Flight Manual 3rd Edition published in 2016.
A must have as an avionics tech, general knowledge for the new guys/refresher for the senior guys. Give me a thumbs up if this was helpful.
Who packaged this book? The front flap and front 10 pages were bent completely backwards. This is the best we could could get it after trying to flatten them back down.
Used it to prep for a couple of airline interviews, definitely served its purpose.
Dry and dated prefer Turbine pilots manual.
